A Practice Created for Women Who Carry a Lot... in Their Bodies and in Their Lives
I'm a licensed massage therapist in Cary, NC who specializes in abdominal therapy for women whose bodies don't feel quite right. My practice is designed to meet a very specific need, supporting women's recovery from restrictions due to stress, lifestyle, digestive issues, postural misalignment, abdominal surgeries, post-partum change, chronic internal imbalances, and emotional stress.
My work centers around Belly Well Therapy, a gentle hands-on approach that supports the health and function of the abdominal area and entire body through specialized massage, breathwork, movement, and guided self-care. Each session is designed to help your belly soften, improve circulation and mobility, release restrictions and scar tissue, and restore a sense of comfort and ease to your body.
A Personal Note
Like many women, I struggled with imbalances since puberty and spent years dealing with symptoms without understanding what was really going on in my body and what the signals were trying to tell me. It wasn't until massage school in 2002 that I experienced abdominal massage and realized how much tension, stress, and unresolved past experiences I was holding in my belly.
For years after my massage school experience I looked for a massage therapist who not only did abdominal work, but had a whole body approach. Having received certifications in coaching for life, health, grief, mind body wellness, integrative cancer support, and caregiver support, I knew that I needed someone not just to rub my belly but to honor all of who I am during my bodywork sessions.
The abdomen is the center of so much, physically, emotionally, and functionally. It's often overlooked in traditional massage, yet it plays a major role in how you feel, move, and heal. I chose to specialize in this area because I saw how many women, like me, were struggling with unresolved pain, swelling, surgical scarring, and internal tension. And, like me, they weren't finding the relief they were looking for.
So I created it. And through advanced training in techniques like manual lymphatic drainage, scar tissue release, visceral manipulation, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, myofascial release, medical cupping therapy, and hijama cupping, I am grateful to say that I offer clinically-, yet care-focused support to women just like me.
